Training & Nutrition Consultations
Lift Big Eat Big is now offering training consultations by phone for both experienced athletes and beginner athletes. The goal of the consultations is to help you reach or maintain your training goals whether it’s gaining weight, losing weight, breaking through a training plateau, or simply trying to figure out where to take your training next. By identifying what you want to achieve, we will work with you to find the ideal fitness and nutrition plans to help you reach your goals, both long term & short term.
How it works
First, you will need to send us an introduction email explaining your training goals to see if our consultations are a good fit. Let’s face it—sometimes the goals are extremely unrealistic and we just can’t help you (i.e. add 100lbs to your squat in one week). Once we’ve agreed on attainable goals, we’ll discuss how often you want to talk, and schedule the consultations.
Most consultations will come with monthly programming at no additional cost, for as long as you continue the monthly fee. This fee also includes our time spent reading and replying to texts, emails, and dissecting your lifts via your weekly Youtube videos. Diet and nutrition can be discussed during the calls, although a detailed diet plan is a separate charge of $250. It is up to YOU to maintain contact with your LBEB consultant. We will be here as often as you need us, but this is a relationship, and you must do your part. Consultations last for 1-3 months from the day I send you your first program. The months do not rollover, much like a gym membership. This will help keep you accountable, rather than giving you an option to quit and come back later.
What it can do for competitive athletes
While some want to lose or gain weight, others already have their body mass dialed in, and are now looking to take it to the next level by entering competitions. LBEB has successfully worked with Powerlifters, Strong(wo)men, Olympic lifters, sprinters, Crossfitters, Collegiate level athletes, even Timbersport competitors. We can discuss your upcoming events and structure your program around it, or we can spend 3-6 months building baseline strength and then pick a competition together. Whatever your competitive needs are, we will help you achieve them.
Why you need it
Sometimes it takes someone looking from the outside to identify problems with your training or food intake, and that’s where we come in. By talking with you one-on one, we will identify all the areas that can be improved in your training, as well as offering the solutions to these problems.
Outside the U.S.?If you live outside of North America, You need to tell us in your first email, BEFORE you pay. Time differences may prevent us from being able to work with you adequately.
We offer Skype sessions for consultations with international athletes. Be sure to set up a Skype account (it’s free) and let us know your user name in the introduction email you send us. Same rates apply in U.S. dollars. Due to time differences and constraints, INTL consults will be reviewed before being approved, to make sure you will get the most out of your purchase.
Payment for the sessions will be done through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, don’t worry–we will send you a bill every month and you just have to enter your payment information. There’s no need to sign up for a PayPal account if you do not choose to. Payments for the consultations must be made prior to the first scheduled phone call.
*There are no refunds on consultation payments once the payment has gone through, unless we deem it necessary. If you demonstrate repeatedly that you will not follow the programming as written, if you test maxes outside of the programming, or if you repeatedly demonstrate that you are not ready for this service, your service will be discontinued, with no refund given.
What is included in the meal plan:
1. Three day’s worth of meals.
2. Four meals per day.
3. Calorie, macros, and full recipes listed. (The recipes are similar to the meals I post online. No chicken/brown rice/broccoli here)
4. Each day you will have 300 free calories for a PWO shake.
5. You will weigh yourself every Friday, before eating, and after the bathroom. You will report your weekly weight to me.
6. I will adjust macros as you progress, to reflect the weight lost/gained during the process.
Meal or nutrition planning is NOT discussed during normal consultations, due to time constraints.
