Started using them during my current powerlifting leaking block and it can handle the high volume deadlifting with the hook grip can't. I've taken the through sets of 3 at 455lbs on deadlifts and have held up well so far. Haven't taken them to 500+ quite yet and one day I might be able to see if these straps can handle a 600lb+ deadlift.... One day

I was looking for a new pair of lifting straps. I didn't want the thin, long straps that cinch down to your wrist
because they take too long to wrap around the bar; I didn't want some silly hook solution either.

I chose these because they looked to be the correct length and very durable - they are. The build quality is amazing and I don't foresee these ripping anytime soon.

Unfortunately, I have relatively small wrists and the opening for these is simply too big. It's hard to get my wrist close to the bar and have weight transferred to my wrist rather than my fingers. The strap is very close to slipping off the top of my hand when I get as close to the bar as possible.

Haven't used straps in 45 years. Got these to get through a hand injury. Took a little getting used to and the straps are fairly stiff out of the pkg. They break in easy enough. One wrap around the bar and they keep the hand in contact with the bar without losing it. I've been able to move my load back up from where my injured hand alone would drop the bar. Once the straps are on, the advantage to using them is obvious, injury or no. I am very pleased with this product.
